The Creative Association of Curators TOK wishes you merry winter holidays! May 2014 be a great and successful year!
2013 was an important year for TOK and it was full of interesting projects. We conducted the second exhibition of public art 'Critical Mass' with the focus on everyday life of a typical dormant city district, organized an international conference on socially integrated design in the framework of the project Design Platform and released a book about transformation of old Soviet school building applying contemporary architecture practices. TOK also joined the international large-scale project New Urban Topologies launched by the Swedish art and design institution Fargfabriken.
For the next year we have prepared a lot of events for you as well. Among them is the renown project of the Israeli video art 'Mobile Archive' in St Petersburg and Moscow traveling to the cities in April and June. In summer 2014 we will continue a series of preparatory events for the show Critical Mass 2015, which host a number of acclaimed artists and curators and take place in an old mansion Dacha Gromova.
We want to thank all artists, curators, designers, architects, social scientists and all our partners, with whom we have been lucky to work with in in 2013, and hope for further fruitful collaborations with all of you in the future!
