Over its history, the development of public art has undergone a number of significant changes: In just 50 years, it has taken a big leap from the city sculptures to intervention, social projects and actions, enaging social and aprticipatory practices.  Today, public art projects are becoming a natural part of the urban landscape and the common artistic practice, not only in America and Europe but also in Russia.

Speaking of  works by international and Russian artists, the curators of TOK will talk about the evolution of public art, its impact on the urban space and interaction with the public and local communities.
